COURSE OF GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR TEACHERS
These pages were realized by Juan Martínez-Val, Doctor of Information sciences for the Complutense University of Madrid and Teacher of Graphic Arts, for the Course of Design for Teachers, organized by the CPR The Latin one, of Madrid. There try no to be, then, design "course" in any sense. Only to offer the possibility of using the new technologies like educational resource, opening new perspectives to the teachers who still do not use them.

CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION CONTEMPORARY ART
The activity that here appears is the most similar thing to a simulacrum of relation to interdiscipline between the artist and the contemporary restorer - conservative of works of art.
Every participant is going to play two roles in different moments; on the one hand it will act like artist approaching a work of a prestigious artist previously selected of a list. On the other hand, they will act like conservatives and/or restorers before the works that other artists (partners) are exhibiting.
WORKSHOP OF DRAWING
The drawing is in itself an art, being practised with profusion by artists of all the epochs along the history, not only like study before to the finished work but like descriptive or expressive artistic declaration. In this sense it is provided with the contest of a series of norms and the analysis of concepts like the composition, the intonation and the perspective.
SERIGRAPHY: ON-LINE MANUAL
The skill of the serigraphy differs from the rest of the methods of printing in which the impression is not realized by contact of a surface against other one. In this case an intermediate surface is used: the mesh of a screen. In addition to being an artistic process, the serigraphy is much extended in the industrial and commercial processes of impression and pattern, especially for the graphic design on ceramics and textile fibres.
SMELTING TO THE LOST WAX
Know, step by step, the process to be continued in the smelting to the lost wax. Every explanation goes accompanied by his corresponding photo, in which it is possible to appreciate in detail the work that is realized at all times.
OIL PAINTING
On-line workshop of Oil painting where it will find wide didactic information about skill, materials, supports and steps to be continued to practise successfully this form.
TUTOR OF PERSPECTIVE
When we paint a picture, we can be sometimes with that it is necessary to include one or several persons in him. Logically on having realized the previous sketch, we will have to bear much in mind this circumstance because like any other element of the picture, the human figure it is submitted to the laws of the perspective and as such we will have to treat it according to a few established norms.
We must not also forget to continue this small course, that the human figure (composed by the body, the arms, the legs, head, etc...), is only a set of cylinders to which necessary it will affect the perspective more or less, always depending on the distance to which it is of the so called "Line of the horizon", everything will be seen. |
