Summer workshops in the MPM
PAINTING, ROLE AND FORK
In the same way that Picasso designed suits and disguises with all kinds of roles and painting, the children will have to make their own garments in the new summer workshops of the MPM. As inspiration, visits guided to the rooms of the Museum and to the temporary exhibition, where they will observe and comment on the work of the artist. Also they will learn how Picasso was creating his works across the videos, books and documents that the Library MPM keeps.
Painting, role and fork is destined to bring the children over to the art, to stimulate his creativity and to encourage the work so much individually as in team. The program of activities, which also it includes cuentacuentos and games outdoors, is faced especially to this end and meditates encouraging also in values like the respect, the curiosity and the critical thought.
The summer workshops are directed to children of between six and eleven years. What IS THE PROJECT to recover?
The purpose of this project is to conceive and to develop hospitable creative toys. We use this denomination hospitable creative toys because we understand these toys as special therapeutic resources for the hospitalized children. From a multidisciplinary exposition, it would be a question with this project of conceiving, of designing, of evaluating and ponar at the disposal of the services of hospitable paediatrics new prodcutos, sanitary creative toys, which general estrablecidas answer not only to the quality regulations for the materila of infantile game, but also to the requests specially sanitary that should make his use feasible in the diverse conditions in which the hospitalized sick children can be, especially that whose treatment a longer hospitalization or appellant needs, or a few conditions (drips, isolations, etc.) more restrictive.

INNOVATIONS FOR THE PROGRAM 2008/09 OF THE MUSEUM THYSSEN
For the course 2009-2010 we keep on extending the trips offer in the Visits - workshops programs, at the same time that we consolidate with a definitive success the Invigorated Visits and Commented Visits increasing the number of offered activities.
Also, we keep on offering the support of an educator - interpreter of language of signs for pupils with auditory shortcomings in the Invigorated and Commented Visits, whenever the center requests it with advance. The same way, we continue with the program destined for pupils with visual shortcomings. It consists of a trip that will be able to adapt itself at the levels of Primary, Secondary Education and Baccalaureate. This program is provided, also, with a material multisensioral specifically.

This project offers resources to be employed at the classroom, in such a way that it is possible to dedicate the necessary time to be deepened in some of the topics that in the course of a visit to the rooms can only be insinuated. The opening to the school centers allows to raise some questions on the contemporary art linked to the later direct contact with different works that are part of the Collection MACBA.

Inside the program of didactic workshops of the National museum of Sculpture, of Valladolid, he proposes an entertaining game that, from the observation of a set of sculptures, the participants must identify lospersonajes. For it they must realize a simple description of every figure, of the objects that goes and of the animals that accompany it and understand, with the help of the educator, his meaning. This work will allow them to reconstruct, like story, his history, and differentiate each of the represented ones.
